As a composer, I approach photography as I do music, especially with regard to its structural, proportional and coloristic qualities. Just as I infuse my music with rhythmic ambiguity and harmonic fluidity, so too in my photography I strive to dissolve the boundaries between the real and the abstract. My photographic abstracts are created through complex processes of image overlays and transformations. In addition to my passion for creating abstract images, I am also fascinated by the graphic elements in architecture and landscapes. Photography at night holds a special attraction for me; it allows me to capture the fleeting, ethereal beauty that unfolds when darkness envelops the world. In my recent work, I am deepening my insights into abstraction through new macro and 3D techniques.
